A week of festivities and this is the finale, the Cutural Indian wedding at The Cove Jervis Bay. Acknowledgement to James Bennett as Chloe and Anuj were his client, and I second him. All photos and edits though are mine.

Who said you can't have a favourite wedding?

There are so many weddings, couples and wedding parties I've loved working with over the last 10+ years, and Chloe and Anuj would be up there as my favourite.

The combination of the two cultures coming together, India in particular has a special spot in my heart, then the picturesque location, very fun guests and most importantly how beautiful internally and externally Chloe and Anuj are. All of this and a few other things made this wedding something special to me.

It was such a joy of mine working with these two on the day and these photos I think speak for themself, I hope you enjoy.

Anuj how do you look so sauve?

Seriously how does this guy pull of this outfit so well, even so he is rocking pearls!

I had so much fun meeting Anuj and getting to hang with him all day, he is such an easy going guy that even after the huge week they've already had always had a smile on his face.

Celebrational walk or beach party?

Even though this is a traditional custom that everyone walks the groom to the ceremony location, it's also a lot of fun. Why travel to ceremony in a hire car, when you can dance to a speaker being pulled in a wagon?

Glamorous, Beautiful and Wild.

This was one the most intimate and somewhat sacred bride getting ready shoots I've done. As everyone else had already left to walk Anuj to the ceremony, it was just Chloe, her father, the make up artist and myself.

Chloes full get up was so spectacular from the hena, her hair and make up, the endless jewels, and her fabulous red, jewel covered dress that weighed 20kg. As Chloe planned to walk to the ceremony along the beach that was a few hundred meters long, you can now understand why she didn't put on the rest of her dress until we were a little closer.

It was such a wonderful contrast with the environment she was in, how stunning she looked and how much of a playful free spirited soul she was as we walked along that beach towards the ceremony.

Traditional Indian Ceremony on Aussie Beach

This was a first time for me experiencing a traditional Indian ceremony, and it was something both beautiful and different.

The entire ceremony is full of so many little details, customs and traditions that as an outsider was beautiful to watch. Additionally it was so special seeing Chloe and Anuj share these little moments together as they went through the process.

As the ceremony can take over an hour though, it's very normal to have a drinks table that guests at any time can get up and help themself to. It's also normal for them to have chats between themselves during the ceremony. So that may be different but it made the entire experience something unique and special.

Bridal Shoot I'm Obssesed with

This shoot was full of so many little intimate moments, playfulness, and them simply being themselves.

It was so easy working with these two as they really relaxed into being themselves infront of us, if that meant walking side by side, holding each other or spinning around in circles.

Food, heartfelt speeches and then a wild dance floor.

What a great way to end the massive week Chloe and Anuj just had, and their special day. Some beauitufl speeches, great food and drinks, another two outfit changes and a wild dance floor.
